Sydney Opera House
The Sydney Opera House is a multi-venue performing arts centre in Sydney, Australia. It is one of the 20th century’s most famous and distinctive buildings. Perched on the waterfront of Bennelong Point, the Sydney Opera House is one of the world’s most famous buildings. Designed by Danish architect Jørn Utzon, the structure’s sloping white roofs make the performing arts center appear as if it’s a giant ship setting out to sea. The complex was completed in 1973 after 16 years of construction and a cost of more than $100 million.
